The staff service was excellent, providing helpful explanations and escorting us to dinner during the rainy stay. The all-inclusive package with safari included was well-organized, with a 4-hour safari where we saw a leopard and two elephants. The spacious tents had comfortable beds, a low-pressure shower, and a fan to keep us cool. The morning wake-up call by frogs and birds added to the experience.

The location of the hotel seems to be perfect for a wildlife experience, surrounded by the sounds of nature and offering the opportunity to dine under the stars. the tents are beautifully decked out with modern amenities, providing comfort while still having the camping experience. the staff is highly praised for their friendliness and knowledge of the area.

The park itself tends to be crowded with other tour groups.

I recently stayed at Mahoora - Wilpattu and had an incredible experience. My stay was for two nights and the service provided by the staff was excellent. From the pick-up at the junction to the day nature walk and private lunch set, everything was top-notch. The tent was comfortable and insect-free, and the camp had a serene atmosphere. The highlight was the safari, with a dedicated naturalist who was extremely knowledgeable and skilled at spotting animals and birds. The whole staff, including the guide, driver, and stewards, made our stay safe and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its great safari experience, friendly staff, and convenient location.

the staff provided excellent service, and the naturalist guide, Sumith, was amazing at spotting wildlife. the safari was a highlight, with numerous bird species, leopards, elephants, and more. the tents were comfortable, and the meals were delicious. the staff went above and beyond to cater to my needs, especially for my disabled mother. the experience was unforgettable, and I highly recommend staying here.
